In Celebration of

Christopher Robert "Soup" Campbell

March 11, 1985 -  January 11, 2019

A beautiful soul, a brilliant mind, a kind and gentle heart combined with an unlimited enthusiasm for life. Chris entered the world on March 11th, 1985. A calm, joyous and peaceful baby, Chris remained that way for the greater part of his life. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
Soup was a lover of all sports, whether watching or playing. He spent so many happy years with his teammates playing hockey, baseball, and roller hockey. Time on the golf course with close friends always filled him with great joy.
Many happy summers were spent camping in Grand Bend with Chris' second family, the Hills – Aunt Barb, Uncle Brian, cousins Alaina, Geoffrey, Angela & April. They will forever miss him.
Chris worked the majority of his career as a Business Development Manager for G2 Financial in Toronto. Recently he had found a new passion in working outdoors, and was a student in the Construction Engineering Technician and Project Manager program at Mohawk College.
After a five year struggle with mental health issues resulting in the onset of chronic alcoholism, the disease became victorious. Beautiful Chris passed away in his residence in Hamilton, having succumbed to acute alcohol toxicity.
Chris is now at peace.
Fortunate and grateful to have shared his life and his love, and mourning his loss are his beloved mother Melanie (Lani) Fellowes, sister Erin Campbell, step -siblings George Dyke (Lucy), Helen Dyke Loiselle, Cathie Pearson (Steve), and his seven nieces and nephews, as well as his long term love Katherine Zajaczkowski. Chris was predeceased by his father Robert Burns Campbell (May 31st, 1994) and his stepfather Dr. George William Arthur Dyke (December 8th, 2017).
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk- Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street W., Mississauga ( just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 3 p.m. Christopher will be laid to rest at the Springcreek Cemetery in the spring with his late father. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CAMH (The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health).
