Chester Nakon

May 7, 1931 - December 1, 2018

After a courageous battle with cancer, Chester passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Jean for 62 years. Loving father of Richard, Ray (Wendy), and Andrea (Shawn). Cherished Dziadziu of Matthew, Victoria, Tyler and Tristan. Chester will be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Ronald Uba. For those who were fortunate enough to have known him and had him in their lives, he will be sadly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Besik and palliative team at Credit Valley Hospital and Dr. J. Zuchelkowski and Nurse Mani for their compassionate care and support.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy 10, N. of the QEW), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 2460 Cawthra Rd., Mississauga, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.

Entombment Park Lawn Mausoleum.

I worked at Union Bedding with my Uncle Kornel and Chester. Both men took care of me through my teen years and taught me many life lessons. They both stressed the importance of an education and hard work. Chester was always cheerful, helpful and kind.! May God bless Chester and May he Rest In Peace!
