Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Cawthra Gardens in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Johannes. Born February 21, 1932 in Kirkland Lake, Chessie is predeceased by her parents Teofil and Zofia. Loving sister of John and his wife Mary, nephew Stan (Diane), and niece Gisele. She will be missed by her friends and many cousins in Poland. Chessie was a long time employee of Mine Equipment Co. in Kirkland Lake, and Winnipeg and Wajax Industries Ltd in Toronto, Markham and Mississauga. Chessie was an active member of Polish Alliance of Canada Br.1-7, Ladies Circle and Syrena Seniors. Special thanks to the Cawthra Garden staff for their care and kindness. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

Arrangements entrusted to Turner & Porter ‘Peel’ Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW). A private visitation and funeral Mass will be held followed by interment at Springcreek Cemetery. Due to the restrictions still in place surrounding COVID-19, attendance at the visitation and service is limited
