Passed away at Silverthorn Care Community on December 1, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Steve for almost 50 years.

Loving mother of Kyla (Jim) and Rory (Deanne). Dear grandmother of Cordelia, Blaze, and Thalia. Adored daughter-in-law of Jill and the late Sid Austin.

Over the course of her life, Cheryl worked tirelessly on behalf of seniors in the field of community health, long term care, and elder abuse prevention. Her family will remember with fondness her sweet tooth and her sweet personality, and will think of her whenever they pour a cup of tea. Cheryl will be dearly missed.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Monday, December 18th from 2:30-3:30 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance to follow at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel.
