In Celebration of

Charlie Campo

June 10, 1965 -  October 12, 2024

Charlie Campo passed away peacefully in his 59th year, surrounded by loving family and friends, on October 12, 2024. Predeceased by his father, Stefano (2011), he is survived by his mother, Anna; brother, Vincent (Sheila); sons, Steven and Spencer; granddaughter, Elianna; and nephew, Vinnie (Brittany). He will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and all those who had the pleasure to know him throughout his life.

Charlie enjoyed many hobbies, including cooking, driving, and photography. His greatest passion, however, was playing pool. He proudly captained his teams and served as a mentor and teacher to many. His legacy will live on in all those whose lives he touched.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatious Loyola Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga, on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11 a.m.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the whole Campo family. Charlie was a great man, always willing to help out in anyway he could with a joke or chuckle to follow. I have called Charlie a good friend since before coming to Canada in 1991. He will be greatly missed by all. May God grant him eternal rest in His kingdom and may he rest peacefully. 🙏 🕊️ Darka (Dorothy Fesiak)

Charlie was one of the coolest pool player that I've known. His demeanor never changed even under pressure .
As a captain and mentor of our team , he guided our team to win the division championship leading up to an impressive 3rd place finish at the Niagara Border Battle.
As a person, he's very respectful and mindful of the other person's needs.
Having a medical issue myself , he didn't consider my condition as an obstacle to my skill. This gave me the confidence to show up every night that we had a game.

Charlie's hands on mentoring and generosity made a huge impact in my love of the game. Through Charlie's compassionate nature, I forget my disability when I am with the team. Charlie was never temperamental. Win or lose, I never for once felt I could have done better or our team could have done more. Charlie made me look forward to Monday nights. Until next time....

We are deeply saddened to hear of Charlie‘s passing. Although we didn’t know Charlie very well, we knew Charlie and his family well enough as a Dog Park family.
Charlie will be deeply missed, especially at the Dog Park.
Our deepest Condolences
