Peacefully, unexpectedly at home, on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the age of 69. Loving son of the late Arie and Johanna. Dear brother of the late Herman and Eugene. He is survived by his sister Mika Hakkens and many nieces, nephews: Rick and Dan Vanzanten, Lisa Luce, Jennifer Allen, Amanda Chappill, Leslie Vanzanten, Melissa Blackmore and Becky Vanzanten as well as many family and friends. Charlie “Chuck” Vanzanten was born in Amersfoort Holland and immigrated to Canada when he was 4 months old. He had a long career as a Butcher and retired in 2017. He will be sadly missed.
