In Celebration of

Charles Blahnik

April 1, 1946 -  December 13, 2024

Surrounded by family, Charles passed away peacefully at home on his own terms. Husband to Martine, father of Peter (Shauna) & Claire. Very proud Grandpa to Julien and Zoe. He will be remembered for his passion, his opinions, and always challenging the status quo. This spirit lives on within his kids and grandchildren.

Charles’ family would like to extend their thanks to friends and family near and far. As per Charles’ wishes cremation has taken place, a memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate Charles’ life.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the daily bread food bank. See link below (make a donation)

Dear Claire and family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss, especially with the holiday season approaching. I chuckled when I read about Charles' "strong opinions" as I recall a story or two from you about this. I feel you may have inherited some of your own strong opinions which you share in light-hearted ways throughout the time I've known you. Claire, I wish you peace and reflection of all the memories you have of your dear father. If there is anything you need from your St. Joseph family, please reach out.
