Charles Barber

February 5, 1929 -  March 5, 2024


Charles passed away peacefully at home. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy in 2006 and his brother Jack (Marian Colwill) in 1988. Charles was the loving father of Catherine (Ley Davison), Charles, Bruce (Linda Myra), and Gordon (Jacqueline McClure). He was the proud grandfather of Phil Davison (Barbara DeMone), Lori (Paul Tyndall), Kim (Gregor Stuart), Jacqueline (Cesar Toste), Andrea (Justin Hardie), David (Holly Jannsen), Emma (Andrew Lupton), Maggie Barber, Ian Barber, Kyle Barber (Cassandra Page), Kaitlyn Barber (Mihyar Al-Ghafari) and William Myra. He will be missed by his great-grandchildren, Jamie Davison, Bronwyn Tyndall, Charlotte, Madeline, Simon and Henry, Finnegan, Benjamin and Beatrice Hardie, Michael, John and Ivy Barber, Calvin Lupton and Skyler, Alyssa, Dustyn, Jaxyn Barber and Finley Al-Ghafari.

Special thanks to our brother Charles who took great care of our Dad. The Family would like to thank Dr. Janet Vickers and the Care Partners PSW workers for their excellent care.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter - Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario, Mississauga on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed by clicking on the link provided below.

Donations to the following charities would be appreciated, Trillium Health Foundation and SickKids Foundation.
