Cayla Manuela Moreno

November 4, 1996 -  September 8, 2023


The family is heartbroken to announce that Cayla passed away at home, on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the age of 26.

She leaves behind her adoring parents Manny and Marianne, and her loving siblings Lysandra and Jacob. Cayla was a skilled chef and approached her life with a spirit of creativity. She was an outgoing, bubbly force of nature, with a huge personality and sense of humour to match. Her friends and family will dearly miss her electric smile, and her generous heart. She will be forever remembered by the many whose lives she touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 2340 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Saturday, September 16th at 9:30 a.m.

Interment St. John’s Dixie Cemetery, with reception to follow.

For those who wish, donations in Cayla’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice, in support of ending homelessness.

I am so sorry for your loss and sending my deepest condolences to the entire Moreno family during this time. I have the fondest memories from elementary school years spent with Cayla.
