The family is sad to announce the passing of Catherine Inez Wilson. Catherine passed away peacefully on December 7th 2022, at Westpark Long Term Care Centre.

She was the cherished wife of John Wilson. Beloved daughter of Frederick and Inez Hollyman and idolized sister of Bob Hollyman. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, nephews Ryan and Rhys Hollyman, niece Monica and great nephew Arilo James Hollyman.

She was born on January 12, 1935 and dedicated much of her life to being one of the best, most loved and caring teachers. She spent her long and tenured career at numerous schools in and out of the greater Toronto area, helping guide thousands of students face and overcome daily scholastic and life challenges and she was always so invested and proud of their successes. She was a charitable person and had a fierce and protective love of all animals and the environment and always wanted the world to be a better place for all who inhabited it.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Saturday December 17, 2022 at 3pm with a visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to world wildlife (support.worldwildlife.org) and pet trust (www.pettrust.ca).
