August 31, 1931 -  October 7, 2021

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Brampton, on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Richard. Loving mother of Darlene and her husband John Chapman, the late John and his wife Priscilla, Mary and her husband Al Banks, and Joanne and her husband Michael Pace. Much loved grandmother of Steven, Matthew (late), Justin, Bradley (Laura), Kyle (Chloe), Luke, Nicole, Brett and Brandi (Andrew), and great grandmother to Aidan, Lexie, Audrey and Aemon. The family would like to extend a special, warm note of thanks to the staff at Extendicare Brampton for their loving attention, respect and care during Catherine's twenty-year residence. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Christopher’s Roman Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Road North, on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Springcreek Cemetery. Mr Martin, I just wanted to express my sympathies for your loss of your dear Catherine! If ever there was a dedicated spouse it was you! You exemplified what true love and commitment is, while being kind and helpful to all the other Residents and Staff at Extendicare Rest easy now knowing Catherine is at peace. Our sincere condolences to all the family. We will certainly miss Aunt Catherine’s wittiness and her way of making us all smile. She was loved by all and mostly by her family. In our hearts forever with terrific memories to hang on to.
