Carrie Franklin,55, of Milton, Ontario passed away early on May 12, 2020 after a hard battle with a brain tumour.  She fought with her customary strength and good humor and slipped away in the company of her family and loved ones.  

 Carrie was born on March 03, 1965 in Toronto Ontario to Gary and Carmen
Franklin. She was the older sister in a loving family with younger siblings David and
Tamara.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind, especially hardest for her loving partner Tom Gentles, her devoted sons Jeffery and Matthew, her beloved mother Carmen, her sister Tamara, her nephew Andrew and her sister-in-law Bonnie.

 Carrie took pride in her career of over 30 years at Blue Beacon.  She will always be remembered as the pleasant personality that her coworkers and customers counted on and looked forward to seeing every day.

But Carrie’s most cherished achievement in life was when she became a mother to her two remarkable sons, Jeffery and Matthew. Carrie loved those boys very very much, even more than she loved herself, and her sons were the anchor of her life.

 Carrie was not one to follow the crowds and never was much for being the center of attention. Her down to earth philosophy was that wealth and status do not make you, but that your kindness and character do. Carrie was the once in a lifetime kind of person who made others feel special and she was known for her kindness, understanding and sympathy. She was the best kind of person who could make you see the sun and not the clouds, she believed in you somuch, you believed in yourself.
 
As a result of Carrie’s generous spirit and honest personality, she was loved by so many. Those who loved Carrie and were lucky enough to be her friend will remember her long after flowers wither. Carrie has carved her name on our hearts.

 Her wonderful joy and character will be celebrated at a Celebration of Life to be held once the pandemic allows.
