I have many fond memories of Carolina making pasta, giving us popcicles and just generally being mothering.
I will never forget her.
I knew Mrs. Marcheggiiani since 1963 when I arrived from Ireland. We lived on the same street. She and her late husband were very kind to me and I felt like I was another daughter to them. I was always visiting and made to feel welcome. They had an open door policy. and cared for me especially after my father died when I was thirteen. They were my second family!!!!
With heartfelt sympathy, holding you close in my thoughts and hope you are doing alright.
I will miss you for the rest of my life, Thank you for everything!
Until we meet again.
We are sorry to hear about the passing of your dear mother. I’m sure she had a very happy and rewarding life especially with so many children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Please accept our sincerest condolences.
