In Celebration of

Carole Ann MacKenzie

April 12, 1938 -  April 6, 2019

The family of Carole MacKenzie sadly announces her peaceful passing
in Mississauga, Ontario on April 6, 2019. Predeceased by her parents George Bateman and Sadie Toohey of Montreal and her eldest son James. She leaves behind her beloved sons, Brian (Julie) and Michael.

Carole was surrounded by family including her most cherished partner,
Arthur Horton. To remember her always are her grandchildren,
Alexandra, Jason, Cameron and John. Carole’s two best friends were
also her siblings, Norma (Lee) and George (died 2013).
Carole was a beautiful, vivacious and caring human being. She will be
greatly missed by all who knew her from her work at the David M.
Stewart museum in Montreal then after the family’s move to Ontario,
managing pubs in Oakville. The mark she left on people’s hearts was evident throughout her life.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Besik
and nurses Mohammed and Fatima from the Credit Valley Hospital for their care.
In lieu of flowers, even though she
loved them, a donation to the Canadian cancer society would be much
appreciated in her honour.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life
will take place at a later date as per Carole’s wishes.
As Carole would say “Love you to bits”
