Carol Gilbert

March 9, 1954 - February 11, 2021

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Carol who passed away peacefully at Sheridan Villa Long Term Care Centre on February 11. Carol’s long battle with Alzheimer’s was her biggest life challenge and she never lost her determination and strength.

Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Her infectious and positive energy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Carol is survived by her husband, Scott, son Scott, sister Maureen, and her miniature poodle, Pepper.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions a private family service will be held. A livestream of the memorial will be available for those wishing to attend virtually on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 11am .

To Scott and family,
My condolences for your loss. I am very saddened to hear the news.
Carol was a very loyal, caring and fun person! We spent many lunches along lakeshore whether it was by the water or greek food. Covid adds an extra layer this year. Sorry we can't be there in person to show our respect.

I have been reminiscing about the wonderful times Carol and I shared all those years ago when we were much younger. What a blessing very good friends can be. How I miss that and they are locked in my memories forever. We shared terrific times together in London, Toronto, Mexico and at each other’s cottages. We often laughed so hard it brought tears to our eyes. I will deeply miss my friend Carol.
