In Celebration of

Carol Ann Marie Kennedy

October 24, 1943 -  February 21, 2025

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Marie Kennedy (Tisdall), daughter of William and Ruth Tisdall who departed this world peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving husband and daughters. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we also celebrate the extraordinary life of a woman who embodied love, kindness, and selflessness.
A devoted wife for 60 years, Carol shared an unbreakable bond with her beloved husband, Tom. Meeting in high school together, they built a life filled with warmth, devotion, and a family that was her greatest joy.
Carol was brilliantly smart, but above all, a mother in every sense of the word. Her love knew no bounds, and she made each of her daughters—Karen, Chrissy, and Colleen—feel cherished and individually supported each day. She was their confidante, their greatest cheerleader, their guiding light and best friend. Her love and care extended beyond her own children, embracing their friends and anyone fortunate enough to know her. She also welcomed her two sons-in-law, John and Rich, as her own, offering them the same unconditional love and warmth.
Her six grandchildren—Jake, Colin, Abbey, Jorja, Thomas, and Mandie—were the lights of her life. She encouraged them to pursue their dreams, celebrated their achievements, and was their most steadfast supporter and caregiver. Her unwavering belief in them instilled a confidence that will remain with them forever.
Carol had a rare and radiant beauty, both inside and out. Her presence filled every room with warmth. Her smile was infectious, her energy contagious, and she had an unparalleled sense of fun and enthusiasm that lifted the spirits of all around her. She had an innate ability to make people feel truly seen and valued, offering kindness and generosity without hesitation.
She was not only a mother to her own children but to so many others, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love to all who needed it. Her home was always open, her heart always full, and her presence always comforting. She was a loyal friend, a giver, a nurturer, and a source of unwavering support, leaving an indelible mark on all who were blessed to know her. Carol taught us to give selflessly, and to treasure the moments we share with those we hold dear.
As we say goodbye, we honor her memory by carrying forward the love she so freely gave. Carol, you were our light, our heart, and our home. You were loved beyond measure, and your presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at St. George’s Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
In memory of Carol, and her love of animals, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
Rest in peace, our beautiful Sweet Caroline.

I wish I had known you. Your daughter Karen is so like the person you were loved for. Karen is a kind, helping, caring woman and mother who lights up every room she enters - I can imagine she got that from you. RIP.
