Carol passed peacefully in her 87th trip around the sun. Carol was always supportive and giving of her time showing genuine concern for all she came in contact with. She was fond of the theatre, reading, painting and word puzzles, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her seven grandchildren.
She grew up in Mimico with her loving parents, Frank and Helen Honan, and her three brothers; Greg (Irene RIP), Brian RIP (Helen) and John (Maureen). She leaves behind her devoted husband of 65 years, Jim and their children Laurie (John), Joseph (Elaine), Colleen (Steve), Peter, and Mary. She is predeceased by her sons-in-law; Bruce and Mark. She is now a guardian angel for her grandchildren; Maxwell, Jesse, Jordan, Troy, Jacob, Brett and Emily.
Carol spent most of her adult life in Mississauga where she was a devout Catholic and treated others to reflect that. Her love of family extended to her numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and she always gave of herself to make things easier for others. She donated to several charities on a consistent basis and was serious about acting like a servant of God.
