Carmen passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberley Smith. Carmen was predeceased by his parents, Carmen Asta (1947), Jean Caravaggie (Thompson) (2021), and step-father, Tony Caravaggie.
His family was small but his heart was big. He will be lovingly remembered by the Asta, Caravaggie, and Thompson families.
Carmen spent most of his career in medical equipment sales. In 1991, he established Image Monitoring in a room above the garage of his home. His knowledge of medical equipment combined with his easy going manner and sense of humour were instrumental in the company's success. Carmen maintained long term relationships with customers and employees even after his retirement. The company was his proudest career accomplishment.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 19th, from 1pm to 3pm at Turner & Porter Funeral Peel Chapel (2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carmen can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
