In Celebration of

Carlos (Paulino) De Medeiros

November 18, 1936 -  November 1, 2023

It is with sorrow that we share that our dear father, Paulino (Carlos) Medeiros passed away at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of Maria Jose and much-loved father of Nancy (Jeff) and Paul (Laura). Loving grandfather of Dustin, Skylar, Adam, Tess, and William. We are grateful to dad for courageously bringing his beautiful bride, Maria Jose, from São Miguel to Toronto in 1966 to start a family in this country of which he and Maria, since 1992, were so proud to be citizens. We take comfort in the thought that dear Will is now showing “Vuvu” the ropes and just maybe Vuvu will even let Will wear his Benfica scarf for a bit.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) for one hour prior to a Service of Remembrance in the Chapel on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 3:30 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the "William Medeiros Scholarship" at the University of Waterloo. This scholarship is aimed at helping exceptional students in the Political Science program. You can donate through the secure donation link or make checks payable to the University of Waterloo – in memory of Paulino (Carlos) Medeiros.

Online condolences may be made through this website.
