In Celebration of

Bruce Dyer

October 19, 1935 -  June 9, 2020

With great sadness we announce the passing of Bruce Dyer on June 9, 2020 at the age of 84. He was married to his highschool sweetheart Valery for 58 wonderful years until her passing
in 2018. He was a loving father to Lise (James) Cooper, Dave (Kelly) Dyer and Krista Dyer. Papa Dyer was much beloved by his grandchildren Devon, Jordan, Aaron, Lindsey, Joshua and Brian.
Our father Bruce was proud to be a 50 year member of the Mimico Masonic Lodge where he was Worshipful Master in 1977. He was also a member of the Rameses Shriners of Toronto and played in the Rameses Lodge Drum Corps.
We have very special memories of camping at Killbear Park, "roughing it" on 3 Mile Lake and hanging out at Mom and Dad's trailer in Muskoka. From our parents we gained a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature and a love of being outdoors.
Dad was very passionate about music and electronics... many many electronics! He was a beautiful bass singer, an avid curler, a big jokester, a sportslover, a proud, generous and devoted man.
Our father will be sorely missed but our cherished memories will keep him alive forever. We know he is happy to be back walking by our mother's side. Now there are two angels looking over us and our hearts are filled with peace.

To all the Dyer Family, Barbara and I wish to convey our deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your Father. There are never the right words to express the sadness this loss brings to each of you . As you experience the loss of your Father and Grandfather, know that while he has gone to that better place , he is not forgotten . Each of you are left with the many wonderful memories shared through a long life . Those memories will live forever within your hearts and will help you through these most difficult times. Cherish your memories always.....
