It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Zlata Briševac, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the age of 96.

Zlata was beloved wife of the late Zvonko Briševac, cherished mother to Zdravko (Nina), Željka Kosor (Hrvoje), loving grandmother to Nikki (Jessica), Stefan (Lindsay), Adrian, and great grandmother to Ella, Noah and Lola.

Zlata was born on July 28, 1928 in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. She immigrated to Canada in 1968 and learned how to speak, read and write English. Zlata also took night classes at George Brown College to further her career aspirations, and then proudly worked for Eaton’s in the Accounts Receivables department.

The family would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to the staff and volunteers of Sheridan Villa Long Term Care.

We will greatly miss our mother’s, grandmother’s and great grandmother’s unconditional love, kindness and support.
