A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. With great sadness we announce the loss of Brenden Gomes, who passed away on July 12, 2020, in his home at the age of 57. Brenden was a kind-hearted man, with a great sense of humour and strong passion for the auto industry, where he served for his entire career. He leaves behind his wife, Elsie Alvares, his daughter Stephanie Gomes, his mother Theresa Gomes, father (late) Baptist Gomes, and siblings Bosco Gomes (Vanita), Maria Gorretti Gomes (Dereyk), Maria Christine Rego (Melwyn) and nieces and nephews Rezekiev, Rekaiah, Raeanne, Rashelle, Rhea and Venisha. May his soul rest in peace. Private Service will take place at Nativity of Our Lord Church. If desired donation may be made to CAMH or Canadian Mental Health Association.

I've known Brendan since 2005. He has been a good friend and a brother to me
He was a kind person and always willing to help anyone who needed his help. I am shocked and heart broken to hear of his death. Brendan will be missed dearly by all the friends . Rest in peace ,Brendan.

A great friend - a great and sadly shocking loss.

We cared for him deeply and will be reminded of him each and every day. His authentic caring for others and his love of family were an important part of who Brenden was.

May you, Elsie and you, Stephanie, find some solace in knowing the fine man he was and will continue to be in your hearts.
