I met Bonnie in the late 1970’s at Port Nelson as members of the United Church Women. Bonnie had a warm and welcoming smile which she shared generously as we sold geraniums in the spring or worked in the kitchen for Mistletoe Mart.
The photo of Bonnie that you posted reminded me of her kind and gentle ways.
With sympathy, Linda.
I was so sorry to hear of cousin Bonnie's passing in March.
We kept in contract over the years by phone or mail.
My sister and I visited Bonnie a few years ago when we were in Toronto area.
My deepest condolences to Bruce, John and their families.
Dear Bruce and John
I send you my condolences on your Mother's passing. I have many fond memories of her not only at 210 Walker's Line but also latterly via email and our telephone chats.
With sincere sympathy to you and your families,
Bob
Our condolences to you Bruce and John and grandchildren and great grandchildren on the passing of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. It’s hard losing someone you love but she did live a long life and especially if there is sickness it’s sometimes for the best. She is now in a better place where there is no pain or sorrow. May God comfort you all.
I have known Bonnie ever since our family started visiting the Peart farm in Burlington as kids. (My father and Peter's father were brothers). Peter and Bonnie were always so good to us all and although we didn't see each other that often over the years, we always kept in touch.
I will miss my yearly visits with Bonnie over the past number of years when I came to Mississauga to spend time with my daughter Nicole.
It was so nice to connect again with you, John and Bruce. I am sure you will miss your Mom greatly but she couldn't have asked for any better sons
