In Celebration of

Beverly Anne Huctwith

August 10, 1936 -  August 6, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce that Beverly Anne Huctwith (nee Campbell) has passed away peacefully at home. She was daughter of Ernest and Margaret Campbell. She is survived by her husband Douglas, her children David, Jennifer and Andrew (Cyndi), grandchildren Alex (Serena) Huctwith and Ashleigh (Niël) Strydom, brother Douglas Campbell, sister Vera (Ron) Taylor and sister-in-law Marjorie Abrams. She was predeceased by her sister Joan (Joe) Stepan, Lee Abrams and Sheron Campbell.

Beverly grew up on her parent’s farm near Wallaceburg. She was a star athlete and valedictorian in high school and gold medallist at Brescia College. Beverly taught high school in Dresden, London, and Toronto before retiring and dedicating her life to raising her children. She was challenged by 40 years of vision loss and a 28-year battle with cancer. She met those challenges with grace, resilience and humour. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and following her beloved Blue Jays, Raptors and curlers. She was proud to see her grandchildren grow up, marry and start their adult lives.

Visitation will take place Friday, August 8 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Turner & Porter Neweduk Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga. Celebration of Life will take place at Lorne Park Baptist Church, 1500 Indian Road, Mississauga on Saturday August 9 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, to honour Beverly, please perform an act of kindness in her memory.
