In Celebration of

Beverley Flynn

April 8, 1944 -  September 2, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Beverley Flynn (nee Wozny) peacefully in her home surrounded by family on September 2, 2023. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, John Flynn, her son-in-law Glenn Mashinter, and her brother Peter. Dear mother of Sheila Mashinter and Colleen Williams (Dave). Beloved Nanny of Sean (Heather), Ryan (Jody), Kevin (Jenna), and Michelle (Nathan). Cherished Great-Grandmother of Nolan, Lyla, Colton, Cohen, and Kyla. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family in Montreal, The United States, and Ireland.

Beverley’s passion was spending time with her family, traveling, and cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays. She enjoyed making memories on annual trips to Myrtle Beach and was her grandchildren’s biggest supporter at all sporting events and dance competitions.

Beverley’s heart carried through at home, where the door was always open. When you walked through the door, everyone was always treated as family. She treasured many close relationships with those she considered to be her honorary grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 6, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm at Turner & Porter Neweduk Erin-Mills Chapel (1981 Dundas St W., Mississauga). A funeral service will be held Thursday September 7, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. John of the Cross Church (6890 Glen Erin Drive). Burial will take place at Glen Oaks Cemetery (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville) with reception to follow at The Irish Club of Mississauga (4120 Ridgeway Drive, Unit 39).

Special thanks to all of her caregivers and to all who have supported the family throughout this difficult time.
