Our deepest sympathy.
Hard to believe Mr. Ulrick is gone. He was literally up on his roof cleaning the eaves just a couple years ago and gently telling me off for telling him to get down! He was a much loved fixture in the neighbourhood. He must have taken a dozen walks a day, always stopping to chat and pat any dogs he came across. When he moved from the house people asked after him for months because it was so strange not to see him out and about. And he was always ready to help anyone with any task, bringing over a rake, or shovel, or whatever was needed to get the job done. Even in his eighties he could do more than most people twenty years his junior. It must have been so hard for him when his abilities declined. He will be missed. Take care Ulrick family.
Bernie was one of a kind! Friend , teacher! Now we all have patron saint for lumbermen!
Bernie was a solid member of the "lumber" community. But foremost, he was an honest and sincere family man.
We all remember the "Bernie stories" and his great attention to detail. I am sure a few his stories will make the rounds in the next few days.
Condolences to Mark and Paul and the rest of the Ulrick clan.
RIP Bernie
