It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of B. Erminio D’Elia. Surrounded by love, Erminio passed away peacefully on May 12, 2024, at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 86.

Born in Castelnuovo, Abruzzo, he was a beloved husband to Anastasia, and a loving Papa to Michelina (Antonino) and Liliana (Saverio).

Immigrating to Canada in 1966 with his family, Erminio lived a life full of hard work, love, and affection. He dedicated 40 years to the construction industry building homes across the GTA, always working hard to support his family.

Erminio was a dedicated and proud nonno to Fabiana (Micheal), Stefania, Daniela, Giuliana, and Stefano, never missing a school production or dance recital, dancing around the living room to an old record and always enjoying a walk together with his walking stick in hand. Erminio will always be remembered for his dedication to his family and passion for travel, music, and hard work.

His family extends their sincere gratitude for all the love and support they have received during this difficult time and the conscious efforts from the staff at Credit Valley Hospital.
