Barry Lant

August 19, 1934 - August 1, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry. Beloved husband of Brenda for 63 years. Loving father of Louise (Ron), and Carla (Gary). Much loved Grandad of Brandon. Predeceased by his parents Murray and Edna Lant. Barry’s greatest joys included his family and friends, the cottage, his cats, his pond, gardening, candies, pastries, reading and listening to music.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy 10, N. of the QEW), on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m.

If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

We were saddened to hear of Barry's passing. I'm sure he's in a better place and enjoying himself with old friends and family.
Bruce so enjoyed sitting beside Barry at Matt and Nina's wedding. They had quite the conversations and Bruce realized that he was a special person. I enjoyed his Christmas letters each year and missed them when he wasn't able to do that any more.
He will be missed but we will remember him with fond memories from over the many years we shared with him.
