It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Elaine Sirilas at the age of 85. Proceeding her unexpected illness, she was constantly surrounded by her family, friends and loved ones.

She passed peacefully on April 28, 2025.

Born in Sudbury, Ontario to Brian & Helen Osborne Smith. She was raised during World War II and as an only child she grew to recognize the importance of family. Barbara was a woman ahead of her time, as she held a national role as auditor for a reputable company. She was a dutiful wife of 53 years to the late Stavros and is survived by her beloved son John and daughter-in-law Diana. She also leaves behind to what she felt were her true masterpieces, her grandchildren Eleni Maria, Johnny (JJ), Christina, Tyler, Christian and Alex.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, 136 Sorauren Avenue, on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1pm. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Mausoleum, 7241 Jane Street.
