In Celebration of
Barbara Lecce
April 8, 1943 -
August 13, 2023
Barbara left us peacefully on August 13, 2023 surrounded by family. Barbara had recently celebrated her 80th birthday, and will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 58 years, Adamo. Beloved mother of Frank (Lisa), Anne Marie (Jordan), and Mark (Lisa). Much-loved Nanna will be cherished and missed by her 11 grandchildren who gave her so much joy and happiness, Aden, Avery, Brianna, Brandon, Hannah, Brooke, Andrew, Frankie, Bella, Taya and Adam. She is now reunited with her mother Edith and her father John.
An avid traveller she loved to traverse the globe with her family and friends, especially trips that brought her somewhere sunny and warm, and as of late Oceanside in Florida for warm winters. Barbara always enjoyed relaxing with her long-standing favorite TV show The Young & The Restless along with movies and game shows. Her family and friends have fond memories playing cards with her, be it poker, euchre, or cribbage. She became a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays as well, taking after her mother, and shared her love of the game with her family. Barbara always made time for her children and many grandchildren, and large family gatherings made her the most happy (she even enjoyed all the dogs and never forgot them at dinner!). It brought her great joy to see all her friends and family having a good time. She was always very encouraging and supportive of her children and was so proud to see them collaborate successfully in business. Barbara loved her grandchildren dearly and was always so proud of their accomplishments, whether they were academic, athletic or creative. Her bright smile, warm laugh, kind thoughtfulness and wonderful cooking will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
