Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Aunt to Donald Glynn. Devoted great aunt to Kenneth and Courtney Glynn. Barbara is predeceased by her parents Eliza Pear Lyons and Louis Frank Lyons, Sister Madelene Glynn Lyons, Brother Donald Lyons, Nephew Gordon E Glynn and great nephew Gordon D.F Glynn.
Barbara was born on April 10, 1939. She was a great women who cared deeply for others. She worked for citizenship of Canada for many years. Barbara was a devoted scout and Girl Guide leader for over 50 years. She loved helping the kids learn to new things, skills and make new friends.
Barbara was a very hard-working person who always keep busy though working, volunteering, and arts and crafts. For over 50 years Barbara and her sister had a business at the Canadian National Exhibition.
Barbra also took care and was more of a mom then great aunt to her great niece and nephews. She would take them to events, lessons and was always present to support them at their games, concerts, and life events.
Barbara was also cared very deeply for by her friends, there isn't anything she wouldn't have done for them. Barbara always had a smile on her face and she would always have a life story or lesson to share for anyone willing to listen. She will be truly missed by all that knew her, her light was something magical, one that could never be replaced.
Barbara family was very important to her, and Courtney and Ken would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
