It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Diana Mort (nee Sharples) announces her passing on Sunday, November 3, 2024, with her family by her side at the age of 76. She was born in Whaley Bridge, England. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Predeceased by her mother, Emma Elizabeth; father, Edward Herbert; husband, Alan; sisters, Margaret, Sandra and Dorothy; brothers, Robert and Ian, and mother-in-law; Hilda. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha; son-in-law, Richard; grandson, Eric; granddaughter, Haylie (Adam); brother, Edward John; brother-in-law, Arthur; father-in-law, Eric (Rachel) and many nieces and nephews.

She was an avid reader, sports fan and trivia enthusiast. She loved playing cards and bingo, going to the casino, and watching Jeopardy.

Family was always important to her and every trip and adventure involved them.

Barbara will be dearly missed and her memory will live on in our hearts, forever.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N of QEW) on Wednesday November 6, 2024 from 5-9 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
