On November 18, 2021, at the age of 75, Jose Antonio Azevedo passed away peacefully at Mount Sinai hospital, while holding the hands of his loved ones.

Jose is the beloved husband of Alice for over 51 years. He was the loving father of Cristina and Lena. Brother of Amandio, Cacilda, Cesario, Manuel, Mario, Ceu, and Antonio. Beloved grandfather of Carolyn and Nathan.
Those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember him as a hard working labourer who contributed to the growth of our City, someone who loved his garden and a memorable storyteller. Jose has touched many lives and he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter, Yorke Chapel,
2357 Bloor St. W, Toronto ON, M6S 1P4. On Monday November 22, 2021 5pm - 8pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021, 11am at:
St. Helen’s Parish, 1680 Dundas Street West, Toronto, ON M6K 1V3.

Following the Funeral Mass, the Burial Ceremony will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7.
