To the family of Audrey Voila Caldwell,

While words fail to capture the pain of losing your loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our Heavenly Father return your dear one to you. You can find comfort in the scripture: Revelation 21:4 where God promises a hope of no longer having to deal with death or pain. May you take comfort in knowing your dear one is safe in the memory of God.

Audrey was a devoted, dedicated teacher when she was at Valleyfield. I remember her beautiful smile and fun conversations while she was there. Rest in peace, Audrey and God Bless. Sincerely, Marlene Erskine (parent from Valleyfield School)

Sue Timmins (Daughter)

My Mom was an amazing Mom. She grew up as the only girl with 4 brothers (Ray, Gordie, Hugh, Russell) and by all accounts was Daddy's little girl. Her passion for reading and learning lead to a career in teaching and having skipped 3 grades in school she achieved credentials at 16 years old. She took such pride in taking whatever time was necessary to support her students and she spent hours on each report card making sure to detail every accomplishment for each student. The boxes of handwritten 'Thank you' cards and gifts that she always came home with at the end of each year demonstrated their appreciation. She continued to teach until I came along and then returned to teaching once I reached my teens. My Mom had a generous spirit always giving to others before thinking of herself. Every time my husband and I came to Toronto to visit her she'd always tuck a $50 bill tucked inside our pockets 'just in case we might need something'. She wouldn't take no for an answer. Her legacy is one of generosity, tenacity, kindness and love. She will be dearly missed.
