Our deepest Condolences and Thoughts and Prayers are with the entire family, and we pray for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with him when he was the president of CCA from 2000-2003. Great loss to the community and he will be greatly missed; we will always cherish his memories.

He was a great Father that always encouraged education and to do our best. He achieved many things in life in terms of family and business. He motivated us to do our best in everything that we did. And will be dearly missed.

While doing his MBA he had a 4.0 grade point average and was on scholarship while in the United States.
Came to Canada and did his Bankers Association and Commercial Real-estate.
Went on to buy and own Gas Stations, Truck stop, Motel, Hotel, etc.

Encouraged me to complete my MBA, CPA, CSC, and I continue to take courses at Harvard. The one thing that I did learn is that it is better to learn to do it on your own then to have it given to you. The old saying give a man a fish and he will eat for a day but teach him to fish and he will eat for life applies to everything that we do in life. I think that my dad was a great fisherman and taught me well.

He will be missed.

We met Aslam and Lynette in 1992 and became friends. He had a strong commitment to community and made tremendous contributions for engaging programs and events. He will be remembered for his efforts for CCA for a long tome.

I first met Aslam in the late Sixties in Karachi. When he was introduced by Farooq Rahim Baksh. Many years later we met in Toronto and became friends. Lynne, Chuki, Charlotte, Afshan and I shared lots of coffee and made many plans. We shared a lot of time together and have great memories.
You will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend. Deepest condolences to Sheila, Tom & Rose.
