It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Ashleigh on Tuesday, October 24th, 2023

In addition to being a talented artist, with gifted musical abilities, she was a dedicated program assistant at the renowned CAMH Center for Addiction & Mental Health. Ashleigh took great pleasure in helping anyone in need and had the ability to connect with people by showing a genuine interest in getting to know them. Ashleigh loved children and her incredible sense of humor enabled her to develop close and loving relationships with her many nieces and nephews.

Ashleigh will be sadly missed by her loving mother and step father Deborah and Paul McCague , step sister Sarah (Toby) Gibson, step brother Peter (Emily) McCague, her Uncle Peter Mendes, her cousins Ryan (Stephanie)& Jason (Joanna) Mendes, close family friend Roger Colvin along with nieces and nephews Hunter, Charlotte, William, Mila ,Sean, Ryan, Aislinn and Anna.

Ashleigh was predeceased by her loving father Alexander (Sandy) Pappas and will be greatly missed by her Aunts Victoria (William Diamant), Penny (Murray) Robertson and Theodora Pappas along with her Uncles Nicholas, Andrew (Veronica) and Christopher (Hae) Pappas as well as her cousins John, Allie and Aidan.

Friends may call Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor Street West, east of the Jane Subway Station and west of Windermere Avenue) Toronto, on Thursday, November 2nd from 4-8pm. A private family service will be held the following day. In lieu of flowers, donations made to CAMH Center for Addiction and Mental Health would be appreciated by the family.

Deb, I cannot imagine the depth of your grief to have lost such a lovely, and clearly loving daughter.
My heart breaks for you. In Jewish tradition, we say, "May her memory be for a blessing."
I'm so very sad for you.
If I can help in daily life in any way, please let me know.
Much love to you,
Fran
