I met Arthur when he was 15 and I was 16. We shared the same heritage ( half on my part). We’ve been friends ever since. I’m so sad that his life was cut short. He was way too young. My condolences to Kevin, Karin and family. Rip Arthur. With love, Lorna and Clive

Arthur swept into our lives 30 years ago like the sparkling light that he was. We were a merry band of misfits and yet somehow fit perfectly together. Arthur was kind compassionate hilarious and self effacing, and of course had all the best clothes. Mostly what I remember about him was his abundance of love and caring, his commitment to his close friendships especially Karin. Loyal and always seeing what was possible he always reminded us of what was beautiful and absurd. He was a special human and I loved him. I was in shock when I heard of his passing. I regret not having kept up with him seeing his photo here he reminds me of the fragility of life and the importance of staying connected. RIP Arthur, the angels are lucky to have you. I love you forever, your friend Colette

When I moved to Palace Pier four years ago, I was very surprised and happy to see Arthur and Kevin here. You see, they lived just across the hall at our previous condo. Seeing them made me feel like I was in the right place. I always loved Arthur’s flamboyant style and envied his wardrobe. I am so sorry for his loss, and send my deepest condolences to Kevin.
