Peacefully, at the Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga Site, with family by his side, on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in his 100th year.

Beloved husband of the late Clarice. Loving father of Virginia Trimble (Robert Wyss) and the late Arturo (late Mary). Cherished Nonno of Mario Arturo, Roberto Luca and Michela Maria and great grandfather of Anna. Predeceased by son-in-law Dave, sister Zaira and brother Antonio.

Armando often spoke of his best decision: moving to Canada for the betterment of his family’s situation. He settled in Yellowknife in 1954 working at Con Mine. Over a 30 year career, he progressed from labourer to Mine Section Foreman. He retired to Mississauga and enjoyed many trips to visit family in Italy. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to THP 1J Ortho staff who showed Armando such compassion and care over the last two months.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N of QEW), on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Martha & Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1870 Burnhamthorpe Ave. E., (E. of Dixie Rd.) Mississauga, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10 a.m.
