It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wonderful father and grandfather, Antonio Tieri "Nonno Tony". He is lovingly remembered by his children Vincenzo (Rosanne), Rosa (Stive) and Gino (Maureen), and his six grandchildren who brought him great joy Anna, Antonio, Julia, Nicholas, Olivia and Sophia. Born in Casalbordino, Italy, he immigrated to Canada with his late wife Anna to build their life together. He was a charismatic, hard-working, cheerful and dedicated family man who greatly enjoyed making those in the community laugh and smile. He was passionate about taking care of his garden and fruit trees and making home-made tomato sauce and wine. Most recently he developed a passion for colouring and painting. Antonio will be deeply missed by his family, friends and by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John of the Cross Roman Catholic Church, 6890 Glen Erin Dr, Mississauga, ON L5N 2E1, on Monday June 13, 2022 at 10:30am.
