In Celebration of

Antonio Dagle Mueda

December 5, 1950 -  April 18, 2021

Our beloved Antonio Mueda has joined his Creator on Sunday, April 18, 2021, at the age of 70. He passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital, with Ester his loving wife of 43 years by his side holding his hand.

Tony, together with his wife, immigrated to Canada in 2001 from the Philippines after 15 years of living and working in the Middle East as a mechanical engineer. He loved to travel, karaoke sing-along, a huge Raptor's fan, and enjoyed playing tennis.

He will be remembered by his strong faith in God, his love and devotion to his wife, his respect and love to his parents and siblings, his kind and generous heart, and his positive attitude in life.

Due to the present restrictions, a private funeral service will be held at the chapel on Sunday, April 25, 2021, at 10:15 a.m., cremation to follow at St. John's Dixie Crematorium and interment in the Philippines at a later date when travel restriction is lifted. Please copy and paste the following link in a different browser to connect to the funeral service https://youtu.be/F7jcb9tSjKY

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to ANCOP Canada or the Kidney Foundation. The family is especially grateful to the doctors and the entire staff at Toronto General Hospital who helped give Tony, by God's grace, an extra six years of life.

Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness felt by the loss of Tito Tony.. He has touched our lives and our hearts. The world has lost an incredible life. Words seem so feeble in moments like these but if they were sufficient enough to ease the pain, I would never stop talking. My most sincere condolences to the family for their loss.

Tita Ester, with my deepest sympathies, you are in my heart and thoughts at this time. I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear about Tito. I was so saddened by the news. Someone so special will not be forgotten. He will forever be cherished in our hearts. I hope you always hold onto the warm and wonderful memories you shared together, and that they continue to bring you comfort and peace.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear."

Rest Peacefully, Tito.
