Anton Gornik

May 12, 1935 - January 10, 2022

Passed away at Trillium Health Partners on January 10, 2022 at the age of 86.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Francka. Loving father of Anthony (Dorothy) and Dennis (Patty). Proud grandfather of Bianca, Olivia, Kayla and Ryan.

Anton was instrumental as the part-founder of the family construction company, T. Gornik Build/Design Ltd.

Due to the ongoing restrictions pertaining to COVID-19, space is limited, and all guests are required to register in advance. The service will also be live streamed. Visitation to be held at Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 739 Brown’s Line, Etobicoke, on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences on the loss of your beloved father, father-in-law and grandather. He was truly an amazing man, kind, loving, hard working and who raised two equally amazing sons and while he may not be with you physically, he will forever live on in each and everyone of you.
