In Celebration of

Gail Anthony

December 5, 1946 -  December 12, 2023

(aka Gail Heggarty)

At home, surrounded by family, our Gail left us December 12th, 2023 on her own terms, with the assistance of MAiD. Her struggle with COPD and lung cancer is now over and she is at peace.

Born in Toronto Dec. 5, 1946 to the late William and Dorothy Hegarty (nee Faulkner). She is also predeceased by her sister Joan Noble and nephew Mark Noble and niece Susan Richardson.

Left to mourn are her devoted and loving daughter Melanie Anthony (David Noseworthy), her sisters Carolyn Richardson (late Cliff), Linda Heggarty (Heather Bradley), along with nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel 2180 Hurontario St. Mississauga, ON (HWY 10 N of QEW) on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. with some Words of Remembrance @ 3 p.m.

Our thanks/gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, PSW’s and MAiD folks who helped her along her path.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to OVC Pet Trust, Dorothy Ley Hospice or MAiD House or a charity of your choice.

Happy trails to you,
Until we meet again.
Happy trails to you,
Keep smiling until then.
