I have been a friend of Tony for almost 60 years. I was campaign manager for his first election to City Council in 1966, and spent many wonderful occasions with him, Aldona, and other family members over the years. I even had the pleasure of visiting the O'Donohue family home in County Claire back in the 1960s. We served together on City Council for many years. He made a solid contribution to the betterment of Toronto through his outstanding service.
Tony was among those who made Toronto the dynamic city it is today. His contribution to Toronto's success will not be forgotten. Tony will be missed by all of us.
My dear Aunt Aldona and Cousin Danny,
My sincere condolences. Uncle Tony holds a special place in my heart and will be missed.
My family and I used to live in Tony’s City Councilor Ward. When we needed assistance Tony was always there to help, Tony was a good man!
We send our condolences to all his family and friends.
God bless .
