It was my great privilege & happiness to become acquainted with Anthony during a pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal & again to Italy years afterward. His deep Faith (& knowledge of it) was a Spiritual bond that lasted many years. Additionally, during a trip to Canada with my friend, Mary Escher (from Iowa), Anthony was our most generous & accommodating host.....the kindest man -- whom I perceived as a Holy Soul; he will never be forgotten.

We will miss Anthony...a truly Holy Soul.
Will off the Holy Mass for him as this was his greatest treasure!

My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. May God give you the peace that you seek.

In 1995, I met Anthony on a pilgrimage to Fatima, Portugal, and had been in contact with him ever since. Mostly by email but in person, too. He will be greatly missed and will always be in my prayers. I will have Masses offered for him. May God give him eternal rest and hopefully we will all see him in Heaven, our eternal home. I know he will be praying for us as he did when on earth.

Internal rest grant onto him oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

I have known Anthony for a number of years through church. We had a tradition going where we would go to IKEA for breakfast after Mass. The breakfast was alright, it was more the company and the many numerous conversations. Anthony was a fount of knowledge and was an extremely devoted Catholic. I will miss our conversations along with his wit and sense of humour. God rest his soul.
