It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Nancy Ruta on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Vincenzo for 57 years. Devoted mother to Rosa Ureta (Roberto), John (Allison) and Tony. Much loved Nonna to Johnny, Alessia, Sabrina and Julia.

Nancy came to Canada at the age of 6. Sister to brother Joe who she adored and admired whole heartedly. She met Vincenzo, the love of her life and they married in 1967. Her three children were so blessed to have such a wonderful mother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved them so very much. We can't imagine how our life will be without you. We want to thank you for being such a wonderful role model, a guiding light and an inspirational soul who sacrificed ever fiber of her being for her family to the very end. Such a remarkable woman who lit up a room with her smile. We will feel your loss forever. Heaven has gained the most amazing angel.



Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., (Hwy. 10, N of the QEW) on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4070 Central Parkway E., Mississauga on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
