On Monday, July 29th, 2019, Annie Prokop passed away at the age of 98 at her home in Toronto.
She was born on January 31, 1921, in Yellow Creek, Saskatchewan, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Polly Panchuk.

Annie was a hard-working farmer, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a strong woman with an incredible zest for life; a caring and gracious soul who was also funny and whip smart. She loved gardening, caring for animals, birdwatching, and in her late years she was a knitting machine. Her favourite dinner was a big plate of chicken wings paired with a cup of earl grey tea.
Annie is survived by two sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, and two son-in-laws, David Prokop, Mel Prokop (Leanne), Patricia Sillett (Dennis), and Jimmy Mirchandani; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Eva Panchuk, wife of the late Marcel Panchuk. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
