In Celebration of

Anneliese Giebler

August 24, 1930 -  December 5, 2021

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Georg and loving mother of Kevin. Dear cousin to Margo Kennedy and Franziska Rosewe, sister-in-law Marga Giebler, and friend Julie Rossi.

Anneliese and Georg came to Canada in 1954 building a new life. She was a very caring person who helped many. Anneliese loved cooking and was the proud owner of “Chez Anneliese” in Port Credit for many years, creating numerous culinary delights, especially known for her cakes.

Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by friends and family in Canada, USA and Germany.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.

A woman who made pastries a culinary art. As delightful and as sweet as they were they paled next to her.

We have known Anneliese and George for a very long time and we wouldn't have wanted to miss that in the world. They became dear friends and they both will live forever in our hearts. Anneliese my Sister and I became the Three Musketeers and when we got together we always had the time of our lives and we always looked forward to our outings. We shall miss her. But she will live on in our hearts.
