In Celebration of

Anne Wahbe

July 20, 1944 -  February 14, 2020

Anne Wahbe
On Valentine’s Day, Anne Wahbe lost her four-year battle with ALS. She was a true warrior who inspired her family and friends with her courage and tenacious will to live.

Anne was born in Lancashire, England, and moved to Montreal, Quebec, in the late 1960s, where she met her husband, Albert. They were married on July 26, 1970, and later moved to Toronto in 1979. Anne was a loving and devoted wife, and a caring and nurturing mother to Andrew and his wife Lisa, Andrea and her husband Scott, and Amy and Lola. She was also a proud and doting grandmother to Ava, Lily, Thomas, and Lydia.

Anne loved to be active and enjoyed playing soccer, skiing, tennis, and golfing. She also had a passion for visual arts and left behind many beautiful paintings for her family to treasure. Anne and Albert traveled the world together, and close friends and loved ones always surrounded them. She will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honour to the ALS Society of Canada.

Courageous, lady who battled her illness with the determination that defined her. Charming, intelligent and witty were traits in life and throughout her illness.
I shall never forget her broad smile and two thumbs up when I brought a red rose to her bedside. Flower for the pretty lady, and she would every time beam in pleasure and thanks.

May God bless and keep her soul with the righteous forever.

We are with Albert and all family members at this most difficult time. At least dear Anne is at peace now after her valiant battle with a wretched disease. Love to all...
