In Celebration of

Anne Minna

January 17, 1936 -  December 19, 2019

Anne “Annie” Minna, passed on Thursday, December 19th, in her 83rd year, after a courageous and hard fought journey of 4 ½ years with ovarian cancer. Beloved wife of Antonio “Tony” Minna for 57 years, and cherished mother of Loretta and Mark, and Anthony and Britta. Attentive and proud grandmother of Julianna and Lydia. Anne is predeceased by her parents John and Giulia Capicciotti, and her sisters Mary (and Matt), Yolly (and Frank), Patty (and Mike) and brother Tony. Anne was well loved by all of her nieces and nephews who enjoyed their visits and chats with her. Anne’s passions for travel, for art and challenges of the mind, were only surpassed by her love of and dedication to family. Anne was enormously grateful to the team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre who never gave up on her and were willing to try all possible treatment options so she could care for Tony when his health declined. Sincerest gratitude to Dr Sarah Ferguson and Dr Stephanie Lheureux and their teams for their compassionate care over the years. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel at 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) Etobicoke on Sunday December 22 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Rd, on Monday December 23 at 9:30 a.m. Donations may be made in Anne’s memory to the Princess Margaret Gynecology Unit.

It broke my heart to see Annie's picture today.
One of the most beautiful souls I have ever known.
The only good thing about it is that the horrible circumstances she has suffered through for the last 4 and a half years are finally at an end.
And yes, Loretta, she is no doubt dancing in heaven.
My sincerest condolences to all

Anne touched me with her internal and external beauty. A gentle soul, Anne was an example of openness to and interest in all that life unfolds. She had innate kindness and sincere faith. Eternal Rest Grant unto her oh lord and May Perpetual Light shine upon her.
