In Celebration of

Anne Marie Weir

September 23, 1956 -  January 24, 2021

Anne Marie Weir (nee Scarlato) passed away in her home on January 24th, 2021.

Throughout her days, Anne Marie touched many peoples’ hearts and lives as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and colleague. She was much loved, respected and trusted by all, and was well known for her ease of conversation, sense of humour and beautiful, cheerful smile. She would gladly help anyone and everyone, and did so with great kindness and sincerity.

Anne Marie loved dogs, nature and crafts, and made beautiful display wreaths and framed pressed flowers which she gave to her family and friends; she loved to bake and many will remember her famous chocolate chip banana muffins. She also truly enjoyed her work with special needs children in a career that spanned more than twenty years.

Anne Marie is survived by her husband Bob; her daughter Julia and son-in-law Jay; her son Vincent; her sister Dora Ciofani and her husband John; and her nieces Maria and Amelia. Anne Marie was preceded in death by her parents Pasquale and Amalia; and her sister Lucia (Lucy).

A celebration of life will be held once it is safe to gather in a larger group. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to SISTERING (https://sistering.org/).

Goodbye, my hummingbird.
